  Jarrod,

  Great idea, would be nice to have a cross compatible httpclient for all the technologies, a lot of reusable code...
  I think the dev team should prioritize this idea... I see so much value on it.

  Would it be possible to create the HttpClient to a portable library? Then it could be used from .NET, Silverlight, WP, XBox.
