NuGet Promotion
I'd like to see a better promotion for NuGet packages on ASP.NET site. There is something in the Downloads section but I think it can be improved. Even a separate tab can be good.

Full width layout
Try and make the website full width? Most developers today have pretty large screens.

Simplify the homepage.
I believe that the homepage can be much simpler than this. Other than the ads that is already mentioned, some other items can be removed to make it more precise. I don't know if there is any statistics on the highest interests for the visitors on the site, but it's good to stick to them. I don't think the latest announcements and blog posts are the top interests for all visitors.

Improve tutorial section
When ppl reached that section, it seems like only Razor tutorial. Should move MVC, Web forms, WebMatrix and etc in to a same places, so it will make ppl easier to learn & noticed what "technology & knowleadge" they should learn in one place. One more thing to share, is Web Pages 2 = WebMatrix 2, confused. Anyway i am not interested in WebMAtrix(Sorry!)

Stop rewarding users for deleting posts
As the ASP.NET forums became less and less useful, I've seen a corresponding trend that seems to be responsible. Quoting the rule against necroposting, users with moderator ability have gone back *several months* to delete answers that were months newer than the questions. I understand that the necroposting rule is important to keep users from bumping old issues to the top of the list, but it's also shortsighted and stupid. And allowing it to be enforced after it won't do any good (i.e, the article has paged off the forum) is pointless and destructive. Look at the status of the… more

create a section with full website development lifecycle
I would say, there should be a section, where people should go and learn how to build a complete website from start to end.

Better point scoring
Points might be provided on the quality or completeness of providing a full solution. Like if the problem was posted requesting help in VB, a C# solution wont get points. Like wise a link to an off site web page would not get as high of points.

A better slogan for homepage
I'd say "Web Development with Power, Productivity & Speed" is a long one. If there is a marketing team at Microsoft that has proposed this, then that's fine, otherwise, I'd suggest to have a shorter slogan, but don't ask me what 'cause I'm not good at it ;-)

I think the beta's background image/colors doesn't look good.
